SAFETY CONCEPT WITH FOCUS ON HSE AND EXTERNAL COMPANY MANAGEMENT

A leading global company in the manufacturing and construction of wind turbines was the client for this project. This company uses a large number of partner companies for assembling and operating its turbines.

Our initial task in this project was to analyze the existing occupational health and safety system and the existing safety processes.

The main challenge here was to integrate the extensive external company management. Overall, the aim of the project was to significantly reduce the number of accidents.

The safety concept was developed on the basis of an analysis of two major projects and was subsequently rolled out on other construction sites of the client, initially in Germany and later all over Europe.

SUSTAINABLE SAFETY CONCEPT

Through communication with stakeholders at all levels, an effective safety concept was developed and implemented across Europe. In particular, this also applies to contractor management. As a result, the number of accidents has been dramatically reduced. The reduction in the LTI rate from a double-digit figure to less than 1 is an example of this.
