Our client had planned the construction of 16 wind turbines in northern Germany. SAFETEE was to take over the HSE management and back office support. The particular challenge in this project was the ambitious schedule of the construction project, which of course was not to compromise safety. In addition, the construction project had the character of a pilot project for the client, such that the parties involved came from many different disciplines.
By examining the initial situation and deadlines on site, a uniform understanding of safety was established together with all parties involved. Daily inspections and the documentation of positive safety aspects as well as still existing deficiencies, together with continuous communication and consistency, led to the safe execution of the project.
FACTS:
With our Ready-To-Go-Check, we first checked the legal compliance of the construction sites, and then established a uniform understanding of safety. In HSE management, all safety aspects were communicated openly. Positive aspects were reinforced, while deficiencies were consistently remedied. Furthermore, the back office support provides the HSE manager and the client with safety-related key figures for the transparent evaluation of developments.
